More LOs


will be the hot or summer I will be that I "wake up", the fact is that lately more and more often I take in hand: paper, glue, scissors and ... much more and put me to work on a LO.
Those who know me ... will hardly recognize me! But how? The "lazy" Monica and with 38 degrees scrapbooking? And perhaps because there are 38 degrees out that I want to stay at home scrapbooking! However, this is a really simple LO.




The photo was printed a photo frame for a go I saw in a shop, but when I came back there was (the frames I mean, not the store). So it's been "converted" to an album page, and that's why only one photo in the LO (typically prefer scrapbooking more photos, maybe ... but ... I've already said: -0).
The writing is done with the Craft Robo (yes I have just thrown a fish at last! After a few years ...), the heart is buffered at the edges with chalk, scissors scallop. What could be easier and faster?



In fact this page has the journaling is clearly visible, but the trip is to go to Lisbon and then in this album :-)

Again, the implementation is simple, I do not like too much pages full of embellishments and frills whatever. I prefer a style liner and more essential that highlights the photos and their story. You know how it is: Old age and memories fade away! : -0
arrows, hand-made, are almost disc with some photos. The edges are buffered with red ink. The ticket certainly could not miss it! :-)

The Cheat Is Not Blocked On This Cubefield

But it's not just high-soft! :-)

... The pizza I mean! : -0
Since 20 years ago we left Naples every time we are left with no friends Neapolitan we feel that talking about pizza Neapolitan pizza is high.
No! Please! Not so! :-))

Neapolitan pizza if you look good is low, the highest thing there is the edge - "frame" as it is called in Naples - and is high not because it is born, but it depends the method of cooking.
The oven pizzeria in Naples has the flame, the pizza comes in a very hot, it cooks in minutes (so it is soft) and the edge / ledge grows ... "Stuffs himself with anti :-) and this is because no tomatoes and baked at high temperatures, it grows.

Even last night, while Deborah
decidevamno to go there was talk of pizza

- Deborah: "we could go ......"
- Me: "But the pizza is? Roman or Neapolitan?"
- Deborah: "not as high as the Neapolitan
- Deborah "is no crunchy"
. Me: (mentally) "sigh!"
Now we adore Rome, we liked everything, really everything. We wanted to come and live here for the smells, the colors, the sun set behind "ar Dome", Trastevere, Campo dei Fiori, saltimbocca, amatriciana, the walk to the Imperial Forums, etc.. etc. .... But no pizza! Without detracting from the merits of Roman pizza and tastes of others, we believe, not just among the things that are more successful here in Rome ... :-)

So with Deborah compromise: "not the first pizza place that inspires us sling!" :-)


All this talk of pizza made me think of another list to add links side, with our favorite places "edible", not only in Rome, of course, but in all places where we were.
will be a work in progress, because I have to try the various sites and place them at the moment we only have MANY phone numbers for reservations, but if every time you go to take a look ... :-)

work under the sunshine! Couscous

Here I am with the last work done. August in my family, indeed the first and last days of August are a concentration of occasions: anniversaries, birthdays, name days (which we celebrate the Neapolitan equivalent if not more, of the birthday).
August is the second and final round of the year where the family can gather, the other is for the end del'anno. For the remaining months and recurrences see you via skype! Great invention! :-)
My parents celebrated the anniversary of the respectable 64 years of marriage.
So fast card for my parents and banner to hang in the room. I finally cut the letters using my craft robo (not going to believe this but there it is! There is a change of time for that? Let's hope not!): -0
Now imagine the letters, decorated with punches of red hearts and damp edges, tied to a wire with small springs with red. A bit rustic but nice!
:-) I'm sorry, but taken by surprise party, grandchildren and dining .... I forgot to photograph it on the spot! :-(

The following is a card that accompanied the gift: a CD of photos and videos from their marriage to ' Last party. ... They moved :-)





There is also the birthday of pronipotina that at this time is "how" princess / ballerina :-)

For her I made this card or a better cd-card. The back I left it hanging in his room so natural can capture the sun's rays and make a nice play of light.
The congratulatory message is then the restrictions of the tag linked to the cd.

I saw wandering around the web a card made in a similar way. There, everything was a little more vintage in both colors and decorations that were of lace.
So I designed the templates of the tutu and slippers. Tulle is obviously recycled from some wedding favors, as well as the polka-dot ribbon that has been sewn to hold everything together. Punch flowers and sequins to complete.

Finally this job for the room in Georgia.

along the edge of the CD. fabric flower and button both recycled ;-) The second CD is linked to the first with the orange ribbon and is designed to hold a photo of "Princess / bal-Lerina :-) The raffia is recycled from the closure of a gift package, the button is part of a bag of decorative buttons bought from Deborah
.


Both CDs are buffered with distress ink.
The idea cd of the two together is not mine, but was taken to wandering around blogs.
I apologize for not citing sources specifically, but when I see something I like the "comments" do not mind keeping ... how to say? the'originale.
Moreover, I also like to customize things so it's really just a canvas on which to work. It would be completely useless save links or photos.

Cute Hair Colors For Brown Eyes

not know about you, but to me the summer I like to cook things other than the usual.


simpler and certainly less elaborate, but not all. I also like to eat "different" from that which is my everyday life.

For example, pasta and lentils are a meal for the summer! Just as it is not pasta and chickpeas. My mom says I'm a little bit fixed. But what can you do? Winter lunches are in my opinion, it takes a maximum temperature not more than 20/23 degrees. The thermometer rises? Nothing lentils, chickpeas, beets ... endives. You change log: summer stuff we need!

And then last night was the dinner: roast turkey breast with roasted peppers in a pan. Summer (of course according to my meter), simple ... ENOUGH diet ... : -0
But ... honestly? Everything I was a bit sad, but as the end of July holiday air, and we have dinner this? Mamma mia!
So what? I had a box of couscous at home, that fact! The couscous was baked, I prepared (it takes 5 minutes plus time to boil water), I cut into strips turkey breast and I passed back into the pan where I cooked the peppers, which I had previously removed. When the turkey is cooked, I added the peppers, a bit of curry, basil, and only I finally added the couscous, season just to do it. Moreover, the dressing was not born to flavor the couscous and then everything could be a little too dry. I finally added some raw plum tomatoes cut into small pieces.
