Oasi di Ninfa
Recommended: Absolutely
Difficulty: Easy

veritable natural paradise, between the flora from the most distant countries of the world, crystal clear streams and fresh water, castles, barns and medieval ruins , in a silence broken only by the words of the guide.
Highly recommended for families with children, so the path is simple (shady avenues) and quiet visit of about an hour and a half.
Warning: The Oasis is open only on the first weekend of each month, we recommend you check the official website to check the opening days of the oasis in which you want to visit. At
the time of writing this post, the ticket costs 8 euros the whole, in my view cost fully justified. :)

Abbey Valvisciolo
Recommended: n /
Difficulty: Easy

built in Romanesque-Cistercian is strictly a of the greatest masterpieces of the genre of the province after the abbey of Fossanova.La tradition, this abbey was founded by Greek monks in the eighth century and was restored and occupied by the Templars in the thirteenth century. When in the fourteenth century this were replaced by the Cistercian order was dissolved. (Source Wikipedia)
We have not stopped, but the sanctuary is on the road between nymph and Sermoneta (main street), and is easily accessible by car.

Sermoneta
Recommended: Absolutely
Difficulty: Medium

medieval village of great charm born around the medieval castle Caetani. Suggestive
in my opinion especially the uphill walk to the castle, with narrow, steep walls and overlooked by houses in white stone.
The castle can be seen every hour drive (be careful, do yourself to find point in front of the entrance gate to the castle, otherwise you'll have to wait another 50 minutes:)), especially the spectacular walkway (top and bottom) walls of the castle.

Norma-Norba

Difficulty: n /

The town of Norma, perched on a wall above Lepine Mountains steep rock from which you can admire the Pontine Marshes and above the Oasis of Ninfa, boasts a picturesque medieval old town.
Not far away, you can visit the archaeological site of ancient Roman city of Norba: in it are kept considerable remains of walls which are polygonal, with three doors dating from the fourth century BC The rugged terrain has led to the creation of sloping terraces which make the city look spectacular. Recent excavations have revealed important remains of several buildings, divided into irregular blocks by parallel and perpendicular streets, including two with different Acropolis temples.
